In February, Said Shabani Hozza, a TME Education Tutor in Tanzania, led an engaging workshop on 3D printing and basic electronics for seventy-six students and four instructors at Lulanzi School and Arusha Science School. With little prior experience, the participants' delight was obvious as they watched their creations take shape on 3D printers and solved issues while creating circuits. The hands-on approach encouraged profound inquiry and comprehension, while supportive guidance ensured that everyone could participate confidently. The extremely positive reaction emphasised the workshops' instructive and entertaining character, with technologies such as 3D printers, Tinkercad software, and our Arduino-based board enhancing the learning experience. The training session did more than just teach skills; it sparked a desire for creativity, establishing the groundwork for future technological explorers and emphasising the necessity of developing young brains to become tomorrow's inventors.
