In August 2024, TME Education Program made significant strides in advancing STEM education across Kenya. Led by TME Ambassador Kelvin Kangethe Gitau, the initiative focused on training educators with the TME Arduino-based kit, ensuring they are well equipped to teach students in the upcoming term. Key partnerships with Shalom IT Centre and Kivuli Centre were strengthened, with new STEM curricula developed to benefit students.
During the Kenya National Research Festival, TME Education expanded its outreach, receiving invitations to showcase its programs at more schools. Additionally, Team Kenya made notable progress in preparation for the FIRST Global Challenge, with support from TMEEducation’s resources and mentorship from our Cameroonian ambassador, Loic Dessap. The program engaged 40 teachers and students, highlighting the growing presence of TME Education's in STEM education in Kenya. With continued efforts, TME Education program is set to foster innovation and inspire the next generation of technology leaders, driving long-term impact in education across the country.
