TME Education – May 2025 Global Impact Summary

In May 2025, TME Education reached learners across 15 countries through hands-on science and technology workshops. More than 500 students gained skills in electronics, coding, robotics, and digital design, guided by local ambassadors using TME Education kits and training materials.

In Egypt and India, students deepened their understanding of embedded systems, Arduino programming, and real-world applications such as sensor-driven alarms. Uganda continued its practical electronics work at CSCA, with a focus on multimeters, sensors, and LED displays. In Zambia, activities spanned two regions—one focused on digital literacy, and the other on Arduino and circuit training.

Kenyan students built Bluetooth-controlled lighting and smart farming systems, while Zimbabwe’s workshops introduced robotics and drone programming. In Madagascar and Ethiopia, university students explored sensor-based automation to support school projects. Ghana hosted Arduino-based sessions that gave first-time coders hands-on skills.

Girls in Tanzania continued building robots at TOIO Robotech Labs, while in Senegal, students used LittleBits kits to learn about satellite technology. In Liberia, learners completed multi-week sessions in Arduino and IoT, while Benin’s mentorship programme expanded to more schools. Burundi and Botswana delivered structured sessions in electronics, innovation, and early prototyping.

This month’s activities reflected the same goal across every country: to build skills, unlock creativity, and help students lead with technology.
