January 2026 marked a strong and well-structured start for TME Education, with ambassadors delivering practical STEM training across multiple African countries. The month focused on electronics, programming, cloud computing, robotics training , and technical skill development, reinforcing TME Education’s mission to expand access to hands-on technology learning.
In Kenya, the new training cycle began in Muhoroni, Kisumu County, where ten young participants , including two girls, enrolled in an electronics repair programme. Training emphasised safety, circuit fundamentals, and practical fault diagnosis. Additional sessions in Nyeri strengthened capacity in electronics, coding, and solar technology.
In Senegal, Ambassador Moussa Tamba advanced preparations for the AI for Good Robotics for Good competition while progressing to the final phase of the national air quality hackathon. Seven students, including one girl, participated in robotics and programming sessions in Dakar.
Tanzania introduced students at Tanga Technical School to cloud computing and embedded systems, supported by colaboration with industry partners and Arduino Day preparations. The programme connected hardware learning with Industry 4.0 concepts.
In Uganda, structured electronics and embedded systems training was delivered at CSCA, engaging small student cohorts in hands-on Arduino development and electrical installation practice.
In Zambia, workshops across eight institutions engaged 32 students in Arduino programming, logic-based coding, and applied electronics using TME Education boards.
Across countries, initiatives in Benin and Madagascar strengthened institutional engagement and introduced new student cohorts to practical electronics.
January activities reflect a clear strategy: strengthen foundational technical skills, prepare students for global competitions, and build sustainable learning communities. As 2026 progresses, TME Education continues to place youth at the centre of innovation, equipping them with the skills required for emerging technology ecosystems.
