June 2026 marked another strong month for TME Education as ambassadors and tutors expanded practical STEM learning across Africa and India. Through schools, universities, innovation hubs and community centres, learners gained hands-on experience in electronics, robotics, coding, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), digital literacy and renewable energy.
In Zambia, TME Education recorded major progress. Edward Phiri supported electronics, programming and project development, with 1,033 students enrolled at Kaunda Square Secondary School and 11 students certified. Obrey Muchena completed a Makerspace training cycle and prepared Team Zambia for the AI for Good Robotics Youth Challenge Finals in Geneva. Nancy Mutachila also trained 55 students at Kabwe Institute of Technology in Arduino, LEDs, buzzers and RGB lighting.
In Kenya, Kelvin Kangethe Gitau advanced Internet of Things training and robotics preparation, while wider STEM outreach reached more than 1,000 high school learners. Another Kenya programme supported three electronics repair graduates in Muhoroni as they moved into self-employment.
In India, Deepak Porwal delivered Arduino and basic electronics workshops across schools in Kanpur, reaching 80 students, while additional sessions introduced more learners and teachers to Arduino, ESP8266 and Internet of Things applications.
Eswatini showed deep school integration, with Hani Mndzebele supporting 249 ICT learners at Annadale School and delivering robotics across Grades 2 to 7. Botswana reached 85 participants through school and community electronics training, while Ethiopia strengthened Arduino, coding and digital literacy through programmes led by Robe Getachew and Nahom Yirga.
Burundi, Tanzania, Senegal, Uganda, Benin, Madagascar, Nigeria and Egypt also contributed to the month’s impact through smart projects, teacher training, robotics, community outreach and C programming courses.
Across all countries, TME Education continues to build confidence, technical competence and innovation mindsets, helping young people become creators of technology and active contributors to the digital economies of the future.
