This vocational school was founded four years ago and is attended by 150 students, 28 of whom chose electronics and electrical installation as their leading course. Our workshop was started with a class in electronics. A group of 20 students, after receiving training in its basics, were divided into three groups that would face the challenge of conducting a chosen experiment from TME’s Electronic Experiments Kit on their own. After completing the task, each team had to show their results and explain their project to the others.
The next day was dedicated to programming and Arduino-based Edu Kit. The workshop was open also for the students of other disciplines. Altogether, it was attended by 127 people. After receiving an introductory course on Arduino programming, the pupils could check their newly acquired skills on the example of LEDs and, finally, everybody participated in creating a code that would set a robocar in motion.

The first day of training was divided into two sections. The first one was dedicated to electronics and creating electronic circuits. Then, the rest of the day the girls could gain some practical skills in soldering. The second day was entirely dedicated to programming. After receiving a training in computer science, the students moved to Arduino-related tasks. All of the participants had a chance to check out their knowledge and write codes for LEDs and solve more advanced tasks. In the end, everyone took part in programming a robocar.
