TME Education Deepens Practical STEM Learning in July 2026

July 2026 was a strong month for TME Education, as ambassadors expanded practical STEM learning across Africa and Asia through robotics, electronics, coding, renewable energy, digital literacy, and community-based innovation.

In Zambia, Ambassador Obrey Muchena supported students who represented the country at the AI for Good Robotics Challenge in Geneva. The team later received recognition from the Presidential Delivery Unit and showcased robotics projects at the Zambia Game Developers Conference and the Zambia Agricultural and Commercial Show, strengthening national visibility for youth innovation.

In Kenya, Ambassador Kelvin Kangethe Gitau mentored the Senior Team at the Robotics for Good Youth Challenge Finals in Geneva, where the team finished 13th out of 28 teams. TME Education Kenya also continued IoT training with Zetech University and launched Coffee, Code and Bots, a monthly technology meetup focused on Arduino Q and robotics.

In India, Ambassador Deepak Porwal delivered Arduino and basic electronics workshops across schools in Pune. Students built circuits, explored sensors, programmed Arduino boards, and tested practical systems including smart irrigation, air quality monitoring, automatic lighting, obstacle detection, and touch-free automation.

In Liberia, Ambassador Archie Forpoh led a Solar PV Installation Training programme for 65 participants at Orange Digital Center, equipping young people with practical renewable energy skills for employment, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development.

Cameroon reached more than 90 learners through electronics and embedded systems workshops, while Botswana engaged 76 participants in community electronics, Arduino training, and a solar-powered house project.

Further activities in Ethiopia, Eswatini, Zimbabwe, Senegal, Madagascar, Uganda, Nigeria, Benin, and Egypt continued to strengthen learning in Arduino, robotics, programming, smart systems, and project development.

Across all countries, July showed TME Education’s growing role in helping learners move from theory to creation. Students are not only learning technology but they are building it, testing it, and applying it to real community challenges.
