In February 2025, our Ambassadors and Tutors advanced STEM education across Africa and Asia through engaging, hands-on training. Reaching over 300 students, the initiative focused on practical learning in electronics, Arduino, AI, robotics, IoT, and embedded systems.
In Egypt, workshops across 10 schools identified top-performing students and provided them with targeted electronics and embedded systems training sessions. Uganda hosted an intensive microcontroller workshop for six selected students, covering AVR programming, LCD interfacing, and real-world coding.
In India, 88 students completed 10-day Arduino and Raspberry Pi workshops in two schools. Despite weather and language barriers, students thrived, successfully building foundational tech projects. In Madagascar, the program expanded to remote campuses, enabling inclusive access to electronics education.
Zimbabwe held Smart City building sessions and an Arduino User Group meetup, promoting creativity and peer learning. Zambia saw 17 students trained in practical electronics, amplified by national radio coverage highlighting student robotics projects.
In Senegal, TME collaborated with FORCE-N to deliver large-scale digital literacy training in robotics, AI, and 3D printing. Kenya reached over 80 students through IoT training and smart prototype development in Nairobi, Kiambu and Mombasa.
Through tailored workshops, innovative projects, and strategic partnerships, ambassadors empowered students with practical skills, critical thinking abilities, and confidence in technology. Despite challenges, we remained committed to empowering future innovators by fostering curiosity, technical skills, and community engagement worldwide. The February 2025 activities of our ambassadors, tutors and students demonstrate their unwavering dedication to expanding access to quality STEM education in diverse global contexts.
