TME Education Zambia Boosts STEM Education and Digital Literacy with Hands-On Learning

In May 2024, the TME Education programme in Zambia advanced STEM education and digital literacy through hands-on learning at Makerspace Zambia, led by ambassador Obrey Muchena. Students engaged in practical lessons on soldering, programming joysticks, and controlling electronic displays and motors, gaining essential tech skills. The program also introduced 3D design and printing workshops using advanced CAD software, fostering creativity and showing 3D printing's industry applications.

Students explored sensors for robotics and automotive technologies, gaining insights into robot mechanics. Preparations for the National JETS Fair included comprehensive support from TME Education for project development and presentation skills. These initiatives have enhanced students' problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and enthusiasm for STEM.

With every workshop we emphasize practical learning, equipping students with vital digital skills. This sets a good practice for future STEM education in Zambia and other countries, shaping the next generation of innovators.
