Zambia Expands STEM Outreach Across Eight Institutions

In January 2026, TME Education Zambia, led by Edward Phri, expanded its electronics and programming outreach across eight institutions, delivering full workshops in two schools and engaging 32 students in hands-on Arduino training. Learners were introduced to physical computing, basic programming logic, and hardware control using the TME Education Board.

Students built LED control systems and traffic light simulations, applying conditional logic to solve real world challenges. The initiative also prepared participants for the upcoming Tech Master Event hackathon, strengthening innovation and project based learning pathways.

Despite limited equipment, structured resource sharing ensured inclusive participation. The January outreach reflects TME Education’s commitment to scalable, practical STEM training and youth innovation across Zambia’s learning institutions.
