Zimbabwe Forms Robotics Team Through Holiday STEM Camp

In December 2025, TME Education Zimbabwe, led by Ambassador Ruvimbo Michelle Mukonoweshuro, hosted a robotics holiday camp for 16 students at Oriel Boys High School. Students learned breadboarding, Arduino coding, and built four-wheel-drive robots, gaining key skills in electronics and programming.

A parent-child holiday workshop brought families into the experience, with participants assembling creative fibre optic night lights, encouraging learning across generations.

The camp concluded with the formation of Team Zimbabwe for the upcoming Robotics for Good Youth Challenge, a global competition focused on disaster response. The team will represent the country at the national qualifier in early 2026.

The programme empowered students with hands-on skills and a pathway to global innovation, reinforcing TME Education’s mission to make STEM education accessible and transformative.
